The process of removing excess material and achieving exact dimensions of the forging components as per the requirements is called Machining. Grinding/ Coining or any other finishing touches are done and the shot blasted forgings are made ready for carrying out the machining process. After the machining process, the components usually become finished for further machining or ready-to assemble component. At K.K. Metals we undertake machining jobs for turning, grooving, drilling, milling, facing, centering, or complete machining. Pre-machining (Rough Turning), High precision CNC machining (CNC Turning), Vertical Milling (VMC jobs) is carried out by skilled machinists (machining operators). At K.K. Metals we have a specially developed ‘Quality Gate’, and forged, heat treated and machined components then pass through the same for Final Inspection and identification, maintaining the component tractability. Machining is done as per relevant PPAP standards. K.K. Metals is a very quality conscious company and we adhere to strict quality management standards. During the process of machining we document, record and inspect the components as per client requirements or our Integrated Management System that conforms to ISO 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards. We undertake complete forging to machining jobs, as well as machining job work. For more details, please contact us.
